Experiences with indigenous teaching in Angra dos Reis: testsitures in education, culture and difference

Abstract

The purpose of this text is to weave experiences with indigenous teaching, dialoguing with our memories and references. The text then leaves the trivial, opening space-time for another mode of collective writing. The incompleteness characterizes our option, emphasizing more the richness of the intercrossing process, woven from our meetings and conversations, at first random and later more structured for the conduct of this text. In 2019, we had the unique and fruitful opportunity, from different areas of knowledge and theoretical-methodological emphases, to act as teachers of indigenous, Guarani and Pataxó students, in order to contribute to a qualification course, intermediated by a project, linked to the State of Rio de Janeiro. The remembrance of the course through our dialogues and writing shows the insistence of that experience in and between us, signaling meanings and making itself as an event conducive to feeling/thinking processes of alterity-sameness.
