This is an experience report on the psychosocial care network with vulnerable populations, populations of African immigrants and foreigners in general living in the French context through the Refugee Reception Center. The reflection seeks to establish an axis of consideration about the reality of the Brazilian Northeast (population of slums) with the perspectives of the epistemology of Community Therapy created by professor and psychiatrist Adalberto Barreto (UFC-Universidade Federal do Ceara), and considerations of Paulo's pedagogy Freire in order to exercise mental health care for people exposed to extreme ethnic, cultural, psychological, economic, social and moral violence. The report reveals that Brazilian knowledge and experience are being deepened and developed by mental health professionals in the French context through the clinic of medical anthropology, at the Pole of Psychological Medical Research Association Minkoviska in Paris with support from the French Ministry of Health.
Keywords: mental health, community therapy, immigrants and populations in extreme vulnerability.
